The Strategy Shift
Since its founding, the Women’s Fund has granted nearly $2 million to more than 60 local nonprofits in an effort to advance the economic security of Central Texas women.
In 2016, our data-informed approach revealed four areas where women face the greatest inequities: housing, education, child care and unintended pregnancy prevention.
We continue to refine our strategy in order to address the most pressing needs in our community. Today, that means shifting our focus to bridging the racial wealth and health divide faced by women of color.
